Wasn't sure if these would work on the iMac, specs meets Apple's but I tend to worry. Totally unwarranted, installed in less than 5 minutes, iMac accepts it. So if you were wondering about this particular model of RAM, yeah they work!
Ingredients:
1x iMac 2011
2x Kingston ValueRAM KVR1333D3S9/4G (These are 4GB modules)
5 Minutes to install with prior research and preparation
Added 2 modules of these 4GB Kingston RAM to the existing factory 4GB on the iMac for a total of 12GB, yep, works with the existing modules.
Technical skills required
Basic skills, you'll have to discharge static from your hands, and make sure the RAM is installed correctly, the OWC video at the end of this post shows how its done, its pretty easy.

Thanks for your post!
worked perfectly fine on my 21.5" mid-2011 iMac as well. exact same memory - KVR1333D3S9/4G; I put 2 of those modules.. so total 12G, include 2 2G existing ones.
Hey guys, Namaste!
What a dump... I've spent hours and hours trying to figure about this subject... In the end, the specs of the Memory Module native with my iMac Mid 2011 21,5" is absolutely the same as this alternative from Kingston, Value or not... I've just ordered mine... If it is of any help... Here you find the Fact Sheets I've digged from both... In the end I also think that if it will work or not it will stay forever or for 30 min... It is just about random luck! I hope mine will last almost forever for forever doesn't exist, right? Cheers Every1.
